There is a toll free and required telephone call you should make prior to any projects which involve excavation. When you make a Gopher State One-Call you will be asked to provide the One-call representative with some information regarding your project. They in turn will contact the utility companies in your area who may have underground services on your property. You will have to wait two working days after the call is made before you dig to allow the utility companies time to come to your home and mark your service locations.
