Gang Enforcement

The Worthington Police Department was one of several departments that founded Quad State Rural Enforcement Task Force in 1991 to assist agencies in solving crimes in the area.  Quad State is made up of Law Enforcement personnel in Minnesota, South Dakota, Iowa and Nebraska.  Quad State is a grass roots organization, currently consisting of 59 members who meet monthly for information sharing.  Quad State also holds an annual conference for Law Enforcement personnel to help them acquire current knowledge of groups in the area.  The Worthington Police Department joined the Southwest unit of the Minnesota Gang Strike Force in 2000.  Go to www.dps.state.mn.us/strikeforce or www.quadstatetaskforce.com for more information.
