Code Enforcement Officer/Housing Inspector


The City of Worthington is accepting applications for the position of Code Enforcement Officer/Housing Inspector. This full time position will provide a variety of technical work in planning, organizing, and implementing code compliance and enforcement functions under the direction of the Director of Community/Economic Development. Primary focus will be on the administration and enforcement of the City’s Rental Housing Ordinance and will shift to other department activities as time permits. Preferred qualifications for the position are: a high school diploma or GED, one to three years of experience or training in code enforcement or inspection services, and experience working with the public. Salary range is $37,092.64 - $50,184.16, subject to the City’s wage and compensation plan. Starting salary will be depended on qualifications and experience.
