Worthington Municipal Liquor Store is accepting applications for Part-Time Liquor Store Clerks to help fill positions for our store. Hours average between 12 and 18 hours per week. Employee must be able to perform a wide variety of tasks associated with Liquor Store operations including, but not limited to: operating a cash register, making change, stocking shelves and coolers, checking identification for legal age on a regular basis, and assisting customers with their questions and providing your recommendations. Position requires working nights, weekends and holidays, some heavy lifting, and teamwork.

Starting pay is $10.30 per hour.

The City of Worthington is taking applications for the position of City Clerk. This position is responsible for conduct of municipal elections, issuance of business licenses, and general assistance to the City Council, Mayor and City Administrator. Minimum qualifications: five years experience in municipal operations, or advanced training in public or business administration acquired by two years of college, business, vocational or technical school.

Police Officer

Salary Range: $26.52/hour - $35.89/hour

General Duties: Performs patrol, investigations, traffic and other law enforcement activities during an assigned shift. The main emphasis is implementation of plans and directions as prescribed for the protection of lives, property, prevention of crime, enforcement of all laws and maintenance of public order.

Minimum Requirements: Up to one year of law enforcement work, requires knowledge gained through specialized courses in law enforcement acquired by completing two years of college, vocational or technical school.
