Administration

The Administration Department is the facilitator of city council meetings and city employment and administers the city code and city charter. It consists of the offices of the City Administrator and City Clerk and support staff.

The Public Works Department includes the Street Department, Park Department and Neighborhood Services Officer.

The Finance Department is responsible for managing the city's financials. It performs accounting services, sets the city annual budget, generates the annual report, and administers the city sales tax.

The Community/Economic Development Department is responsible for planning and managing Worthington's physical growth and expansion, generates the city's comprehensive plan and administers building inspections, planning and zoning and rental housing.
