The Planning & Zoning Division is responsible for the administration of the City's long range plans for future growth in the City through the enforcement ofthe City's Zoning, Subdivision, Sign, and related Ordinances to assure compliance with the City's Zoning requirements, Comprhensive Plan, and other goals/policies. Comrehensive Plan Update

The City of Worthington along with SRF Consulting Group began a project to create a new Comprehensive Plan in summer of 2023.  A Comprhensive Plan serves as a guide for the City reagrding policy decisions, future land use, streets, recreation, parks, and so much more. The updated plan will establish goals for the City for the next 20 years.

The success of this project hinges on engaging with not only the residents of Worthington, but anyone that works here, visits, shops, enjoys a park on a weekend, and so many others. Thank you to anyone that filled out a survey in 2023 or chatted with staff members at a festival. We truly appreciate.

Be on the lookout for upcoming opportunities to provide input and feedback on elements of the Plat. While it may seem slike a broad, boring document, it truly impacts the future of this community.
