The City Administrator serves as the Chief Administrative Officer of the City and is responsible to the Council for the administration of all City affairs placed in the Administrator's charge under City Charter. The City Administrator appoints all Department Directors, evaluates the performance of employees, sets general personnel policies, and approves staff appointments. The Administrator supervises the preparation of the annual budget, advises the Mayor and Council as to administrative and financial needs, and maintains contact with Federal, State and local agencies.
