Lake Front Park & Sailboard Beach

Majority of park is within dedicated street right of way. The underlying title to the property was purchased from the Chicago Pacific Corporation railroad, to provide for perpetuation of park purposes in 1984. In 1999, the power plant was demolished and that area of the park was converted into additional park property.
