Mission Statement
Serving Worthington with honor and integrity by providing community oriented law enforcement and emergency services to all people.
Structure
The Worthington Police Department consists of 23 sworn officers including the Chief of Police, a Captain, three Patrol Sergeants, one Detective Sergeant, two Narcotics Investigators, one Gang Investigator, a Detective, one School Resource Officer, 2 K-9 Officers, 12 Patrol Officers and a Community Services Officer. The department also has an Administrative Assistant, two Records Personnel, five full time Dispatchers and one part time Dispatcher.
Worthington is located in Nobles County, in southwest Minnesota, and has Interstate 90, US Highway 59 and US Highway 60 traveling through its city limits. Worthington has a growing population of 12,764.
